Banana bread is one of those classic American desserts that should become whey more popular (got it?) in our region! Some people, like I used to be, are scared of the tons of sugars and fats of a classic American banana bread. Fear no more! Because we’ve (re)created the perfect healthy banana bread! Trust us, you will never ever want anything else for breakfast again.


Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 30gr Grenade whey protein powder
  • 15gr oats
  • 50ml egg white
  • 50ml low fat milk
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 0,5 chopped Carb Killa White Chocolate Cookie protein bar

Recipe

This mini banana bread is, just like all other recipes, extremely simple to make.

First, preheat your oven at 180° Celsius. Now comes the fun part; mash the banana (keep 4 slices apart for decoration). Now add all other ingredients. Yes, you can just throw it all together and blend it until you get a consistent mixture.


The only thing left to do, is to pour the mixture into a baking mould (take a smaller one, because this recipe is only for 1 or 2 portions), and garnish with the banana.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in an oven of 180° Celsius. Get your bread out of the oven and put some Grenade protein bar pieces on top. Banana-fans will L.O.V.E. this!
