Protein fruit tart

This dessert doesn’t need an introduction. It looks like a fruit tart, it tastes like a fruit tart and it’s healthier than a fruit tart. You can use this crust recipe for so many other kinds of tarts, so don’t give the excuse you don’t like yoghurt or fruit. The options are endless. Life is short, eat your (fruit) tart first!


Ingredients for crust

  • 150gr oats
  • 50 g Mutant Chocolate Whey
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 eggwhites
  • 4 tbsp water

Ingredients for filling/topping

  • 300ml light Greek Yoghurt
  • 100gr blackberries
  • 100gr strawberries
  • 0,5 of a Grenade Carb Killa Caramel Chaos protein bar

Recipe

Before you do anything else, first preheat your oven to 200° Celsius.

Combine all your crust ingredients and knead it to form a dough. If you think the dough is too crumbly and doesn’t stick to itself, just add some more water.

Take your cake/tart mould and press the dough into the tart pan. Make sure your edges are high enough for the filling. Once your dough is shaped into the tart pan, bake it for 10-15 minutes.

Once your crust is baked, remove from the oven and let it cool down. While you let the crust cool down, cut half of a protein bar into small pieces. When the crust is cold, pour the Greek Yoghurt into the baked tart crust, and garnish with the fruit and protein bar pieces. You should get 6 pieces out of this tart.

You will have to admit it; this one doesn’t only look amazing, it also tastes amazing.
